Michael Wittmann was a German Panzerkommandant in the Second World War. He was credited with the destruction of 138 tanks and 132 anti-tank guns, as well as an unknown number of other armoured vehicles. Wittmann was famous for his surprise attack on 13 June 1944 during the Battle of Villers-Bocage against parts of the 7th British Panzer Division. With 5 more Tiger I, he destroyed 12 tanks, 10 half-tracked vehicles, 2 crew transporters and 2 anti-tank guns within 15 minutes.
